Employee Well Being
In the Spring of 2011, employees in the healthcare family of Midwest Geriatrics, Inc. were invited to participate in the Well Being Project, facilitated by the Institute for Wellbeing Management. The goal of this project was to improve the wellbeing of each employee serving seniors in one of our care communities. Employees were asked to provide feedback about their working environment and suggest ideas to for employee wellness, including financial, physical, community, career and social wellbeing.
As a result of the project, employees are now able to enjoy a dedicated break room to relax and recharge, a fitness room to be used before or after work for physical wellness, and look forward to celebrating the holidays with their co-workers at a party hosted by the management staff of Midwest Geriatrics, Inc.
The project and results of the effort are summarized in the celebration video below.
